Dear Patriot Guards:
We thank you all very much for your terrific display of patriotism for my father Carl Taute’s service at Fort Snelling Old Faithful , displayed an outpouring of honor and caring for him and his tenure in the military and honor guard. It was very moving to see so many of you standing proudly with “Old Glory” high and tall serving witness and offering protection. Oh what a feeling... I am sure my father had looking down at his loved ones and the patriot guard, the military and honor guards as his body was laid to rest and my mother given his flag.
