Pine City Deployment Thank You Letter
My name is Tracy Charchenko and my boyfriend just left for Ft. McCoy, Wis today. He is part of the 1-94th cavlery out of Pine City, Mn. I am not sure if I am contacting the right person but I just wanted to thank all of you guys for doin what you do! It brought tears to my eyes to see all of the flags around our soldiers. This morning before he got on the bus, like 5 of you guys showed up! My boyfriend had called me and said "babe their still here.... they are escorting us the whole way!". He said wow I want to shake their hand for caring so much about total strangers! I thought I needed to tell someone so if that was youre group or not in pine city.... THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU PEOPLE DO! If its not please send this to who needs it! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!TracyBlaine, Mn
Colby's Send Off Party
Hey Joe, Good Morning My Wonderful Brother
Been meaning to write you this note for many days now, but for once in my life I haven't been able to find the words to express my feelings. Still can't.
The night at Jake's, Feb 18 to be exact was so overwhelming. I felt as if for the first time my mixed up feelings about Colby's decision were being qualified and shared by a whole group of people that I had never met before yet we all became one heart.
Sometimes I still have some trouble grasping my feelings that go between pride and loss and fear and love. But that moment in time at Jake's pulls me together every time. And I know the memory of that evening will continue always to give me strength and peace through you and all the angels of our soldiers that I was honored to cross paths with.
I love you so much Joe and all the angels you walk with and brought with you for Colby and me. Colby, your nephew of few words, as you know, was more overwhelmed than I have ever seen him. He was bursting with a rare emotion that will carry him through his days in harms way.
Love forever and always,
Janet

Thank You from IJ's Parents
Dear Patriot Guard,
We were so honored to have you participate in our son, John's, visitation and funeral in December 2010. Your presence was indeed a tribute to our boy. We learned so much from all of the Guard's remarks at the funeral home that it allowed us to have a special look at our son. He truly touched some hearts and was a dedicated leader of your organization. The respect that you showed to our family during our time of grief was second to none!!
Enclosed find our check ($400) to carry on your work. We are plugged into your website and might show up sometime for an event. Right now I have tears in my eyes just thinking of you and your flags,
Sincerely, John & Evelynne Thompson
